ALL ABOUT GCHS

  • About Us

Greene County High School and Greene College and Career Academy share the same facility, staff, and location.  Fully accredited by the Southern Association of Schools (SACS), we are dedicated to serving our community by offering traditional educational as well as specific technical and vocational pathways. Our association with RISE, Athens Technical College and Foothills Education Charter High School supports both structured and flexible student scheduling.  Family focused and student centered, we take pride in the commitment of our highly qualified staff who strive to inspire, motivate, challenge, and educate our youth.  Our continuous community involvement and our efforts to build partnerships support our goal to engage our parents in their students’ education.  Title 1, Title III, Project RISE, ATLAS, Career Coaching, and our Student of the Month recognition event are examples of our determination to include parents in the education process. GCHS also houses Foothills Charter High School.
